Our Mead

 

From the very beginning we have been following a path instilling excellence and quality in everything we do. We collaborate with, exchange barrels amongst, and pour alongside the most reputable businesses in the craft beverage industry. We embrace myriad techniques and ingredients as we are constantly engaged in studying, developing and testing fresh ideas.

We are known for making the most full flavored mead and cider in the world, but our portfolio begins with accessible cans of delicious off-dry traditional hard cider aged on oak and continues with tropical session meads and hard seltzers, moves through Zinfandel wine and eventually lands with the magical meads resting in our barrel room. From backyard BBQs to Michelin starred restaurants Superstition is always the right choice for any occasion.

Our Story

 

From our humble beginnings in Skull Valley, to our historic Tasting Room renovation in Prescott, to designing a state of the art production facility, and to building the world’s first mead and food pairing restaurant in Downtown Phoenix, SUPERSTITION MEADERY is an Arizona Entrepreneurial Success Story.

We follow our mission “TO REINTRODUCE THE WORLD’S OLDEST FERMENTED BEVERAGE TO MANKIND” every day, and nothing makes us happier than seeing people enjoy our products. We work hard every day to maintain the world class distinction our products and service have achieved, and we look forward to you becoming part of our story too.

Our Barrel Program

 

We LOVE barrels! Oak barrel aging is integral to many of the products that we make at SUPERSTITION MEADERY. We have used new American oak, bourbon barrels, rum barrels, brandy barrels, Madeira barrels, port barrels, French oak barrels, and we even run an innovative barrel exchange project where we swap barrels with breweries. Our Locations

 

We operate a beautiful tasting room and a separate Production Facility in Prescott, AZ and we are opening the world’s first mead and food pairing restaurant in Phoenix in 2020. Follow our individual locations on Instagram for the latest news!

Our products are available throughout Arizona and we ship business to consumer to 38 states plus D.C. We also work with distributors in half of the US and our products are available in select markets in Europe, Asia and South America.
