Introducing Desert Monsoon – A Seasonal Storm in a Glass
This Saturday, something wild is rolling in from the high desert.
We’re thrilled to release Desert Monsoon, our once-a-year seasonal mead crafted with Arizona wildflower honey and prickly pears. Bold, bright, and deeply rooted in the flavors of the Sonoran Desert, Desert Monsoon is an expression of place—what we call desert terroir. From the honeybees to the cacti, every ingredient in this mead is shaped by the sun, the soil, and the rare, life-giving rains of the Southwest.
Expect a vivid magenta pour, lush notes of berry and citrus, and a soft floral aroma that evokes the scent of blooming creosote after a storm. Balanced sweetness and subtle earthiness make Desert Monsoon a refreshing yet complex sip—perfect for hot days and cool, rainy evenings alike.
And speaking of rain…
In true monsoon spirit, we’re running with a much-loved tradition:
Whenever it’s raining in downtown Prescott, glasses of Desert Monsoon are half off—only during the storm. Whether it’s a gentle sprinkle or a dramatic downpour, if it’s raining, it’s pouring… mead.
Join us at our Prescott tasting room this Saturday to celebrate the 2025 return of Desert Monsoon. Once it’s gone, it’s gone until next year—just like the fleeting magic of the monsoon itself.
